2022 RMR FOUR WHEEL DRIVE TOUR

A 2022 tour for all Cayenne and Macan Owners who want to try and catch fall colors!
Holly Jackson and Shaun Seela have organized an Off Road Tour! Join us on Sunday, October 2nd for a beautiful drive in the mountains near Sedalia! This is a fun and easy drive for all Macans and Cayennes. Yes, even your summer tires will not have any issues on this route! Come out and drive Forest Service roads meant for your four wheel drive vehicle. Be ready to get some dirt on your tires, and see some cool rock formations and some Aspen trees changing colors!
New to off-roading? Don’t be worried, this route is great to start your off-road affinity!
YOU MUST REGISTER! Space will be limited. The trail system does not accommodate big groups very well.
THINGS TO KNOW: All wheels and tires are welcome!
*There is still a chance you could get a puncture in your tire or a scratch on your wheels. *PCA will not be held liable.
REGISTRATION FEES: $10 per vehicle
LIMITED SPACE: This tour will be limited to 50 people. Please feel free to fill your seats and bring friends and family!
Please arrive at 8:30 AM to sign in. Driver’s meeting PROMPTLY at 8:45 AM. All participants will be verified of registration and PCA waivers and must attend the drivers’ meeting.
Drive Description of the 4WD Tour: The tour will be around the Sedalia area south of Littleton, CO. We will drive up into the mountains and start out on W Dakan Rd and circle back around and come out on Jackson Creek Rd. We will have sections of road that are a bit bumpier and narrow in spots. We will stop for some photo ops and bathroom breaks.
The end of the tour is the parking lot at 1515 Park Central Dr, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129, where we will have many eating spots to pick from: Old Chicago, Rock Bottom, Shake Shack, CAVA, Torchy’s Tacos, MAD Greens, and Teriyaki Madness.

Our next RMR-PCA Membership Social will be at Man Cave Colorado, in Westminster, CO. Voted as the best automotive detail shop in Denver for many years, Man Cave Detail has expanded from complete polishing and pampering of your Porsche to laser cut PPF, paintless dent repair and now full car wraps! Many of our Porsche Club members have had their cars massaged there over the years…possibly even yours!
There will be food and libations to indulge in, and valuable door prizes for those who stick around for the bewitching hour!

Join us for RMR’s last HPDE event of the year and typically one of the best! An excellent team of instructors and volunteers will help you enjoy your Porsche on the best track Colorado has to offer, High Plains Raceway.
- Lunchtime charity rides will be held for $20 per vehicle – Any roadworthy vehicle can drive the track at touring/highway speeds. All proceeds benefit our charity for the event.
- Lunches for volunteers and instructors will be provided.
- Saturday Dinner $20 per person, menu To Be Determined.
There will be beer-30 on both Saturday and Sunday, and the club provides water during the day to help keep you hydrated.
We are excited to support our charity for this event: CASA of Jefferson and Gilpin Counties. You can donate as much as you would like during registration.
As of this time there are no COVID-19 related restrictions in place that will impact this event. That may change, we will update you if it does.
This Event will be using Deferred Billing, your credit card will not be charged until Wednesday, October 5, 2022.
Dates: Gates open by 6:30 am Friday Oct 7, before the event and remain open 24hrs/day until after the event ends on Sunday. HPR offers open lapping all day Friday. You can register for this on MotorsportReg.com
Check-in: 7:00 AM to 7:55 AM Saturday and Sunday Please check-in before the mandatory 8:00 AM drivers’ meeting.
Drivers’ meeting: Starts at 8:00 AM (each day) in the Pavilion. Green run group drivers’ meeting following the all drivers’ meeting, (each day) in the Classroom.
Location: High Plains Raceway, 17 miles east of Byers on US-36 (Deer Trail)

Event requirements
National PCA membership number and membership status will be verified as part of the registration process. If you do not include a valid PCA membership number (or forward a pending membership confirmation from PCA to the registrar), a $10 non-member fee will be assessed.
You must be 18 or older with a valid driver’s license to participate in this event.
You are required to use a Snell-certified SA2015 or M2015 or newer helmet. You will need to wear clothing made of natural fibers such as 100% cotton. Short-sleeve shirts and shorts are now allowed. Closed toe shoes are required while driving. Helmets will be checked at Pre-Tech or Tech at the Track where you may obtain an RMR/PCA helmet sticker confirming th Snell rating. A limited number of loaner helmets and HANS devices are available.
No convertibles or open cars without roll bars, trucks, or non-Porsche SUVs.
NEW PCA RULE: If you have added a racing-type seat in order to use 5-point, 6-point or 7-point harnesses (which must be replaced every two years or every five years depending on whether they are SFI certified or FIA certified belts, respectively), you must also have and use an approved Head and Neck Restraint device. Further, if there is to be a passenger (e.g. instructor), same must be provided and used by the right-seater.
We cannot accommodate two (2) driver cars if both drivers are novice drivers and attending their first DE event. Also, three (3) driver cars are not allowed.
Attendance at RMR DEs at HPR will be limited to a total of 135 drivers per day, including up to 30 Novice and Beginner drivers depending on the number of Instructors registered. To implement this, everyone registering for the DE will be listed as ON HOLD, subject to CONFIRMATION BY THE CDIs.
Your priority in being confirmed for an event will depend on the date and time you register. When an event fills up, further priority will be given to PCA members.

We are heading down to one of our favorite restaurants in Colorado Springs, The Edelweiss German Restaurant. Participants must pre-register for this drive.
Everyone will need to sign the PCA liability waiver form(s) during check-in; for members with children under the age of 18, a minor liability waiver form will need to be signed by one parent(s) or legal guardian(s).
All drivers must attend a drivers’ safety briefing that will be held after check-in and prior to departure. We will have multiple “run groups”. You will be given a colored dot when you check in that needs to be placed on the upper driver’s side of your windshield. The colored dot will designate which “run group” you will be driving in during the tour.
Meet at The Perfect Landing Restaurant at 9:45 AM. Departure will be 10:15 AM to 10:30 AM. The route is I-25 South to Castle Pines Pkwy. and N. Daniels Park Rd., US 85 and CO 105 (S. Perry Park Rd.) through Sedalia, Palmer Lake and Monument and then I-25 to Colorado Springs to The Edelweiss German Restaurant.
Lunch is at 12:00 PM in the Biergarten (weather permitting). Otherwise downstairs in the Ratskellar.
