Social @ Ed Carroll Porsche
May 14 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

We are excited to announce that our Northern Colorado Social at Ed Carroll Porsche in Fort Collins is nearly here!  Ed Carroll Porsche has been in business since 1967 (52 years!) serving the Northern Colorado and Wyoming areas. They are a family run dealership and focus on outstanding customer service and community involvement with local charities.

Adolf Zoch, Porsche Sales Manager, is excited to have us and he is pleased to announce we are invited for brunch to help celebrate the New Macan Launch Event!  Their team will be onsite to answer any questions we may have.  We will be delighted with adult libations, beverages and food.

Come out and enjoy the eye candy, food, drinks, friends, and a prize raffle.  Must be present to win!

We are expecting a good turnout of cars and members. But not to worry, there will be plenty of onsite and street parking. We are looking for all models and colors of member’s cars to come on out, so don’t be afraid to drive those oldies but goodies!

May 28th Edelweiss Spring Tour @ Colorado Springs
May 28 all-day

We are heading down to one of our favorite restaurants in Colorado Springs, The Edelweiss German Restaurant.  Participants must pre-register for this drive.

Everyone will need to sign the PCA liability waiver form(s) during check-in; for members with children under the age of 18, a minor liability waiver form will need to be signed by one parent(s) or legal guardian(s).

All drivers must attend a drivers’ safety briefing that will be held after check-in and prior to departure.  We will have multiple “run groups”.  You will be given a colored dot when you check in that needs to be placed on the upper driver’s side of your windshield.  The colored dot will designate which “run group” you will be driving in during the tour.

Meet at The Perfect Landing Restaurant at 9:45 AM.  Departure will be 10:15 AM to 10:30 AM.  The route is I-25 South to Castle Pines Pkwy. and N. Daniels Park Rd., US 85 and CO 105 (S. Perry Park Rd.) through Sedalia, Palmer Lake and Monument and then I-25 to Colorado Springs to The Edelweiss German Restaurant.

Lunch is at 12:00 PM in the Biergarten (weather permitting).  Otherwise downstairs in the Ratskellar.

May 21st May I Have a Re-Run Autocross @ Colorado Air & Space Port
May 29 @ 12:00 am – 11:59 pm

Are you the quickest air 911, Boxster, Turbo, Macan?  This event is a great chance to try out your skills and to compete against the clock.

Are you familiar with Autocross?  Autocross is a performance driving experience conducted in a safe environment at relatively low speeds (2nd gear).  You will not hurt your car and more importantly you will not hurt yourself.  Autocross is a lot fun and provides small doses of adrenaline rush that will keep you smiling for days. You will gain additional confidence in your driving ability, learn the limits of your car’s braking capabilities, practice correct seating, hand, feet and vision positions, as well as push and perhaps exceed the limits of your tire’s adhesion capabilities.

By the way, autocross is a huge social event and a great time to meet new club members and visit with friends. If you can volunteer to assist the chair in setting up the course and other activities to make this a successful event please contact us!

Event Charity: SECOR Cares. The roots of SECOR Cares go back to the 1990s in Parker, and for years, they have fought against hidden poverty. They have a strong focus on feeding hungry families in places like Douglas, Arapahoe and Elbert counties, and throughout Denver’s suburbs.
