Hey Porsche friends!
We are doing something a little bit different this month – we are having our monthly membership social on a Saturday! Mark Zalmanek, owner of, Autoworks Colorado, wanted to have a BBQ for everyone in RMR-PCA and offered to host it on a Saturday when most people are probably not rushing home from work. So, this Saturday, May 26, 2018, is the big day! Now, some of you may remember being at Autoworks Colorado the last couple of years for one of our monthly membership socials and may recall the outstanding BBQ meal he had for all of us. Well, that’s what we are getting again this year! He is planning on a whole bunch of us coming down to his Porsche shop and eating BBQ, drinking beer & wine and being Porsche merry!
The weather looks to be perfect BBQ weather and what a great time to get the Porsche out for a drive and be with all your Porsche Club friends.

Benefiting the Colorado Fallen Hero Foundation, this wild event will send its participants on a quest into the foothills of Colorado to gather hidden evidence of the mysterious Sasquatch!
The event starts on Saturday, June 2nd at 10:00 AM in Golden and ends in Conifer. A total of five rally stops are planned – each with a disturbingly different bit of possible proof of Bigfoot itself! Can your team successfully collect enough clues to the hairy man-ape’s existence and win the Gimmick Rally?!
Only 40 cars will be allowed to participate. Cost is $30 per person (kids under 12 are free) with all proceeds going to charity!
So dust off your compass, find your hiking boots, and prepare yourselves for the ultimate adventure of a lifetime! <strong>Saturday, June 2, 2018

Rally Quest is RMR’s annual Gimmick Rally and this year’s event is on Saturday, June 2, 2018. Always lots of fun. The route will start in Golden and end in Conifer with door prizes, and awards for the rally winners!
The adventure starts at 9:30 AM Colorado State Patrol HQ in Golden (Camp George West). Everyone should arrive 15 minutes early (0915). The road course covers approximately 60 miles in total, depending on which of four routes you are randomly given. The rally portion of the event will take about 90 minutes to complete. The whole event will end at the Snowpack Taproom & Kitchen in Conifer. We anticipate to be announcing our winner(s) and giving out all door prizes around 1pm at the Taproom.
